Welcome to the ACT Gifted and Talented Local Support Group (of the NSW Association of Gifted and Talented Children Inc)

ACT Gifted and Talented Support Group provides support for gifted children and their families by way of organising fun and education activities, guest speakers, family days, and general information and guide to other resources.  The group also provides support and information for parents of Twice Exceptional/Gifted Learning Disabled (GLD) children.  Our most popular feature is our journal "Gifted" which is available free to all our members.

Last Coffee and Chat Morning for Term 1 2012

Guest Speaker Coffee and Chat; Friday 13th April

A conversation led by Rhonda Filmer on gifted children with learning disabilities

Rhonda will address issues facing these students in smaller conversational style.

Where: Belconnen Library Community Room
When: Friday 13th April
Time: 10:15am – 11:45 am (Note the later start)
Parking: pay parking in nearby streets and parking areas.

Rhonda is an accomplished teacher and educator with many years of experience teaching gifted students and working with their families and schools. Rhonda’s also been a writer for the NSWAGTC Gifted magazine and presented at many conferences.
