Developing the Talents of Gifted Children - CANBERRA
Gagne's Differentiated Model of Giftedness and Talent
with Professor Fracoys Gagne
Tuesday 30th (Curtin PS) and Wednesday 31st (Shine Dome) January 2007
Tuesday night went very well. The Curtin Primary School hall was a great venue. Around 60 participants attended, mostly parents, carers. There were light refreshments and time to chat in the break, which was great for parents to meet other parents with kids that are Gifted and Talented.
Wednesday at the Shine Dome also went well. Mostly teachers, counsellors etc. Light refreshments were provided and the book store was open and was quite successfull.
The ACT Support Group of Gifted and Talented Children would like to thank Curtin Primary School for their ongoing support and especially for the opportunity to have Professor Gagne speak at the school. Thanks to Helen Dudeney and the NSW Association of Gifted and Talented Children. And a special thanks to Professor Fracoys Gagne for helping us understand the Differentiated Model of Giftedness and Talent.
